Lot consists of: (A) Regulation 1839 Pattern enlisted infantry waist belt plate. The plate is die struck with a rolled brass face and lead filled featuring stud "puppy paw" belt hooks on the reverse. The plate is marked "PC.1" and "Powell's Creek / Oct. 1, 1960" on a label on the reverse. The name "S. Betts" has been etched into the reverse. (B) Regulation 1839 Pattern enlisted infantry cartridge box plate. The plate is die struck with a rolled brass face featuring two iron wire loops. One of the wire loops is bent. The plate is marked on the reverse "PC.15" and "Powell's Creek" on a label on the reverse. (C) Regulation 1826 Pattern enlisted shoulder belt plate. The plate is die struck brass, lead filled, with intact wire loops on the reverse. The plate is marked "Powell's Creek / March 18, 1962" on a piece of tape on the reverse. CONDITION: All belt plates are ground dug and are in relic condition. JLD
