Lot consists of 7 excavated buttons from Civil War sites including 2 Confederate manufactured 2-piece block-I infantry buttons and 1 U.S. Ordinance Department button by Scovill. See Albert OC3 and Tice ORD200. The U.S. Ordnance Department button measures approximately 15mm. The "thin I" block eye button measures approximately 22" and the "Thick I" block eye button measures approximately 23". CONDITION: Good excavated condition as shown, with backs and shanks in place. Digger inventory numbers are exhibited on the reverse of some buttons. SBR/JLD
