Pre-War commercial Mauser C96 semi automatic pistol with shoulder stock/holster. Made circa 1910 as a pre-War commercial model. Standard company address on the chamber and right side of the frame. No import/export mark found. Matching serials on all the visible numbered parts, including the grips. "(crown)/U" proof on the left side of the chamber. Barley corn front sight with rear tangent adjustable to 1,000 meters. Metal component have been completely cleaned and polished, leaving the bare metal surface. 32 line wood grips. No lanyard ring, but stud is present. Includes an original wood shoulder stock/holster. Stock iron is numbered but not matching. Faint imperial proof on the left side, below the hinge. CONDITION: Metal retains no finish with most areas being buffed and cleaned. Some light surface rust at the grip lines. Grips have light wear, but are solid with no visible cracks. Tops of the grips have been sanded. Frosted bore with good overall rifling. Mechanically fine. Stock has a few handling marks, being refinished at some point. There are 3" cracks on both sides. Metal hardware is forming a brown patina. Lock up is tight to the gun. JWA
