SSP. Sign is Maker Marked Beaver Enamel, Elwood City, Pennsylvania. A nice displaying example of this Porcelain Sign from Firestone Tires, showing W.C. Smith Firestone Tire Service. Sign shows fair color & gloss throughout the field showing some moderate areas of surface scratching with a couple of minor chips but overall very clean. The outer field shows some moderate areas of chipping with some heavier touch ups at the top left edge. The Sign shows an outer red neon border that glows bright and displays excellent. The Sign shows no added holes for the neon and it attaches at the mounting holes. Sign is set on a nicely made metal can that displays the Sign nicely. Overall a very nice displaying example of this early Sign from Firestone Tires.
