German Heer M43 "herringbone twill" tunic with no visible markings. Tunic is made from a dark olive HBT with an unusual black rayon partial lining. The tunic has light to moderate staining throughout, with a black tint. It appears the tunic was wet at some point and the stains are from the black rayon lining. Collar has machine sewn Litzen, with pressed paper buttons. A machine zig-zag stitched eagle is present on the right chest. Buttons are removable with rings securing them, with six on the front, four on the pockets, and two on the shoulders. Pressed paper buttons secure the cuffs. The red piped removeable wool shoulder straps are reproductions. CONDITION: Overall good. WEZ
