Circa 1962. Made in Belgium by FN a semi-automatic rifle fit with a 19" round blued steel barrel chambered for the .22 LR cartridge. Barrel is built with an adjustable folding leaf sight and dovetail gold tip bead front sight. Top of the barrel is marked "BROWNING ARMS COMPANY MORGAN, UTAH & MONTREAL P.Q. MADE IN BELGIUM". Right side of the barrel is marked "BROWNING PATENTS" while the left side is marked "22 LONG RIFLE". Underside barrel in front of forearm is marked with the rifle's serial number "2T43266". Blued receiver with cross-bolt safety and single smooth blued trigger is adorned with light scrolls and border engraving on both left and right sides. Trigger guard bow also has light scrolls. Breechblock with Belgian proof marks. Top of the receiver grooved for dovetail scope mounts with Belgian perron proof mark at rear ahead of stock. Straight grain high gloss walnut pistol grip stock has 2 checkered panels and a blued steel serrated buttplate. Beavertail forearm similarly finished with matching checkering. CONDITION: Excellent. Barrels retain approximately 99% original blue. Bores are bright at shiny. Receiver retains approximately 99% original blue. Stock and forearm with minor use/storage marks. Original factory box in good condition. (CP)
