Browning B78 single shot falling block style rifle chambered in .22-250 Remington and manufactured in Japan. Heavy tapered blued barrel with 6 drilled and tapped places; 4 on the barrel and 2 on top of receiver. Only the front drilled and tapped spots have proper screws. Left side of barrel has manufacturer address stamped above "MADE IN JAPAN" and right side of barrel has stamped the model name and patent number. The high gloss wooden furniture includes a schnabel style forend and Monte Carlo style stock with rubber recoil pad. Checkering on both forend and the pistol grip with a polished metal cap embedded in pistol grip cap. Serial number "02061RT147" stamped on bottom of receiver. Includes factory box and Browning scope bases. CONDITION: Excellent plus overall condition with almost all original bluing remaining. Very slight handling marks on wood. Bore has signs of light oxidation from storage. Good mechanics. GFP
