Side by side European game gun marked on top lever "NORIEL/METZ" with French proofs. 27" blued smoothbore barrels originally chambered for 16 gauge with 28 gauge adaptor installed in each barrel. Barrels fitted with matted concave rib, extractors and bead front sight. Scalloped boxlock action with light floral engraving and is marked "VERITABLE/ ST. ETIENNE" with double triggers and top tang non-automatic safety. Checkered walnut round knob pistol grip stock with black rubber recoil pad. Walnut diamond pattern checkered splinter forearm with push button release. CONDITION: 85% original barrel blue with handling wear near muzzle. Action polished to a shiny appearance. Wood has 90% original finish with some handling dings and marks. Excellent bores with opening lever being a little sticky. DLM
