Lot consists of (A) Uberti Model 1866 lever action rifle. Made 1975 in Italy and imported sold by Navy Arms. Standard markings on the barrel. This model commemorates 100 years of the Indian Victory at the battle of Little Big Horn. Right side of the frame is marked "1876/1976". Left side of the frame has scroll engraving, in addition to an Indian portrait. Round steel barrel with blade front sight and 2 position rear ladder. Brass frame and butt plate. Blued barrel and lever. oil finished wood stock and forearm. Both are decorated with brass tacks in Indian style. CONDITION: Metal retains 90% of its original finishes with light wear. Brass frame has some tarnish. Wood has some handling marks and scratches. Bore is shiny with crisp rifling. Mechanically fine. (B) Stevens Favorite single shot rifle. Made 1920-30's. "25-STEVENS" marked on the left side of the barrel. Serial number on the bottom of the tang. Part round, part octagon steel barrel. Blade front sight with added buck horn style v-notch rear. Factory blued finish on the metal components. Wood has a light oil finish. Brass tacks on the stock and forearm in Indian style. Original hard rubber butt bad. CONDITION: Metal retains little of its original finish with most areas forming a brown patina. Wood has handling marks and scratches. Butt plate is chipped on the bottom, with 3/4" of material missing. Bore is heavily frosted with good overall rifling. Mechanically fine. Tight hammer. JWA
