Winchester Model 1885 Low Wall single shot rifle. Made 1904. 2 line company address on the top of the barrel. Serial number on the bottom tang. Octagonal steel barrel with aperture globe front sight and adjustable tang mounted rear. Case colored lever with the barrel being factory blued. Frame was blued at some point. Wood stock and forearm have their factory oil finish. Crescent metal butt plate. CONDITION: Metal retains 50% of its finishes with most areas forming a brown patina. Wood has handling marks and scratches. Forearm is solid with no visible cracks. Bore is very clean with strong rifling. Mechanically fine. JWA
