Soviet Russian Tula Arsenal SKS semi automatic rifle. Made 1952 at the Tula Arsenal. Typical Russian proofs on the chamber area. Tula star and an illegible date on the left side of the stock. Import marked on the right side of the receiver, with the importer applied serial number as well. Matching serials on the receiver, bolt, carrier, dust cover, magazine, trigger group and stock (forced match). Standard barrel with a hooded post front sight and rear tangent adjustable to 1,000 meters. Blade bayonet. Arsenal reapplied black enamel finish on the metal components. Stock was arsenal refinished with a heavy lacquer finish. Metal butt plate with trapdoor and cleaning kit inside. CONDITION: Metal retains 95% or more of its arsenal refurbished finish. Stock has a few minor handling marks and scratches. Bore is shiny with crisp rifling. Mechanically fine. JWA
