Colt Model 1908 semi automatic pistol. Made 1929. 2 line company address and patent dates on the left side of the slide, with standard markings on the right. Rampant Colt pony behind the slide serrations. "VP" proofed on the left side of the trigger guard. Half moon front sight and u-notch rear. Factory blued finish on the metal components. Original checkered wood grips with silver medallions on each panel. Factory 2 toned blued steel magazine marked "CAL.380/COLT". CONDITION: Metal retains 98% of its original finish with a few handling marks. Grips are excellent. Bore is clean overall with strong rifling. Mechanically fine. Magazine has light wear. JWA
