Lot consists of (A) Excellent example of a Marlin No. 20 Takedown slide action rifle chambered in .22. Octogen barrel with dovetailed front sight and rear stamped "V" notch sight with white vertical line. Top of receiver drilled and tapped with appropriate screws. Ribbed walnut forend and walnut stock with metal butt plate. Knurled magazine tube tip. CONDITION: Excellent plus with almost all original bluing remaining. Light handling marks on underside on receiver and very light scratches throughout. Wood in excellent condition. Good bore and good mechanics. (B) Marlin No. 20 Takedown slide action rifle chambered in .22. Octogen barrel with dovetailed front sight and rear stamped "V" notch sight with white vertical line. Top of receiver drilled and tapped with appropriate screws. Ribbed walnut forend and walnut stock with metal butt plate. Knurled magazine tube tip. CONDITION: Good with most metal surfaces turning a brown patina. Handling marks and scratches throughout. Wood has scratches and wear marks throughout. Dark bore and good mechanics. GFP
