Winchester Model 42 slide action shotgun. Made 1933. Standard company markings on the right side of the barrel. Matching serials on the frame and barrel assembly. Round steel barrel with Simmons Specialties marked vent rib (probably added later). Pink bead front sight. Metal components were lightly refinished at some point. Stock has a light added oil finish. Checkered hard rubber butt plate. Full choke bore and a 3" chamber. CONDITION: Metal retains 90% of its original finish with light wear. Stock has handling marks and scratches. Bore is shiny. Mechanically fine. JWA
