Manufactured circa 1889 in .22 Short. Blued 26" octagon barrel with 2-line Winchester address and full length magazine tube. Blade front sight and buckhorn rear. Receiver has no loading gate, with cartridges loaded directly into a removable magazine tube. 2-piece plain walnut stocks with steel forend cap and crescent rifle butt plate. CONDITION: Good. Metal components exhibit gray patina throughout with an added protective coating. Wood good with some chipping on forend and impressions. Bore worn with faint rifling. Action cycles but requires some attention. BAS
