Colt Single Action Army NRA Charlton Heston commemorative revolver with case and box. Made 2003 in the Custom Shop to commemorate the NRA presidency held by Charlton Heston 1998-2003. Two line company address on the top of the barrel. Patent dates on the left side of the frame. "VP" proof on the left side of the trigger guard. "PRESIDENT/1998-2003" on the bottom of the grip strap. Heston's signature is gold inlay on the back strap. Scroll engraving on the barrel and frame. Round, steel barrel with blade front sight and u-notch rear. Case colored frame and hammer, with the balance of parts being blued. Ivory style grips with "CH" carved on the left and "NRA" on the right. Includes original blued cardboard box, manual, lock, white outer sleeve and red velvet lined wood display case. Case includes 6 silver dummy bullets with Heston's signature on one side and "SILVER / BULLET / BRIGADE" on the other. CONDITION: Metal retains 98% of its finishes with little signs of handling. Grips are excellent. Bore is shiny and crisp. Unfired from the factory, with no drag lines. Wood dowel rod in place to prevent the cylinder from being turned. Box and case are excellent. Silver bullets have some tarnish. JWA
