LeFever Nitro Special side by side shotgun built by the Ithaca Gun Company in 1929. 26" blued "Nitro Special" marked barrels with raised matted rib, extractors, and fixed "4" and "2" for Full and Modified chokes. Case hardened boxlock frame with double triggers and automatic safety. Walnut plain pistol grip stock with hard rubber buttplate. Matching walnut plain splinter forearm. CONDITION: 90% original barrel blue with light corner and carry wear. Action fading to a silvery patina. Wood has been cleaned with a light coat of oil added and some minor small handling marks. Excellent bores and mechanics. DLM
