1874 vintage Colt "Etched Panel" Frontier Six Shooter single action revolver, serial number 57470. 7 - 1/2" round barrel in .44 Winchester Center Fire with Colt single line barrel address, blade front sight, "V" frame notch rear, and reapplied acid etched panel marking. Blackpowder frame with donut ejector rod head. Color case hardened frame and hammer. 1 piece plain walnut grips. CONDITION: Very good, with a majority of the original factory bluing remaining with holster wear at left of barrel and light handling marks throughout. Grips are strong and slightly shy to trigger guard and backstrap, with handling marks throughout and finish loss near butt. Action is tight and crisp. Bore is frosted with well-defined rifling and moderate abrasion from use with corrosive black powder. An original Colt Frontier Six Shooter with attractive amounts of original finish remaining. TON
