Smith & Wesson 1st model .44 Hand Ejector Triple Lock revolver chambered in .44 Smith & Wesson Special. Nickel finished frame with 4" round barrel and service sights. Right side of barrel has 3 line manufacturer patent and address stamping. Left side of barrel stamped "44 S.&W. SPECIAL CTG". Right side of frame stamped with "SW" trade mark. Wrigglework style custom engraving throughout revolver. Wooden diamond checkered stocks with "SW" medallion on either side. Serial number on underside of stocks does not match the serial number on the frame. CONDITION: Very good with most of the nickel finish remaining. Light flaking of nickel throughout along with light handling marks. Action needs attention as occasional impediment of hammer when cylinder latch is pushed forward. Good bore and good mechanics. GFP
