Lot consists of: (A) 1862 vintage Colt 1860 Army .44 caliber percussion revolver. 8" round barrel with 1-line New York address, German silver blade front sight, and hammer notch rear. 6-shot rebated cylinder with naval engagement scene roll mark. Recoil shield cut for shoulder stock and matching steel back strap. Major components stamped with military inspector marks, included "C" condemned mark on frame. 1-piece smooth walnut grips. CONDITION: Good. Overall brown patina on steel components. Markings soft and some pitting present. Front strap exhibits mellow mustard patina with areas taking on red hue. Grips show heavy wear. Dark shootable bore and good mechanics. (B) 1863 vintage Colt 1862 Pocket Police .36 caliber percussion revolver. 5-1/2" blued barrel with 1-line New York address, brass pin front sight, and hammer notch rear. 5-shot fluted cylinder. Brass grip straps and 1-piece smooth walnut grips. CONDITION: Very good. Traces of factory applied bluing are retained with balance turning to brown patina. Grip straps have mellow with areas polished bright, Grips have some minor marks. Dark shootable bore and good mechanics. BAS
