1878 vintage Colt Model 1878 double action revolver, serial number 189. 7 - 1/2" round barrel chambered in .45 Colt with single line barrel address, blade front, and frame notch rear. 2 piece checkered Colt gutta percha grips featuring a Rampant Colt in an oval on either side. CONDITION: Very good as refinished, with a majority of the reapplied nickel plating remaining with even, light pitting throughout. Grips are strong with no major signs of distress. Good mechanics. Bore is dark with visible rifling. TON
