Lot consists of (A) Winchester model 1894 Carbine John Wayne Commemorative rifle chambered in .32-40 Winchester. This rifle includes a 18" blued round barrel with buckhorn style sights, two stainless barrel bands, stainless receiver and large loop lever, press checkered wooden furniture, and blued metal butt plate. Left side of barrel has a two-line model and manufacturer address stamping and right side of barrel has " ONE OF THREE HUNDRED" stamped in silver colored cursive. Both sides of receiver have engraved John Wayne Western movie scenes with names of his famous movies surrounding the scenes. John Wayne's engraved signature on the tang and commemorative medallion embedded on right side of stock. Included with this rifle is the commemorative factory box and one unopened box of Winchester .32-40 Winchester John Wayne commemorative ammunition wrapped in plastic. Box does not include factory paperwork. CONDITION: Excellent plus new in box with seeming to have never been fired. Excellent bore and mechanics. Both sides of receiver have engraved John Wayne Western movie scenes with names of his famous movies surrounding the scenes. American style engraving on trigger guard section of lever. John Wayne's engraved signature on the tang and commemorative medallion embedded on right side of stock. Included with this rifle is the commemorative factory box and one unopened box of Winchester .32-40 Winchester John Wayne commemorative ammunition. CONDITION: Excellent plus new in box with seeming to have never been fired. Excellent bore and mechanics. Box and accessories have some handling and storage marks. Included is a wooden Commemorative match set display case for both rifles lined with blue fabric and Commemorative plaques both on outside lid and inside. GFP.
