A beautiful reverse painted boudoir lamp by Handel. The 7” diameter reverse painted shade features a ribbed form with a scene of autumn leaves in green, orange and yellow set against a soft orange background. Small clusters of purple berries further decorate the shade. The shade is signed “Handel 6706” and is in excellent condition, free of cracks, chips or repairs. The shade sits on a signed Handel patinated metal base. The base retains its original socket and acorn pull. The base is decorated with a forest scene, and finished in a brown patina with verdigris accents. Dimensions: 14” tall by 7” wide.
