1895, GERMANY: An excellent example of a Polyphon Style 104 music box with an original Polyphon storage cabinet. The style 104 has 118 teeth in the music comb, playing 50cm discs with coin operation. The base storage cabinet is an original, with walnut veneers and burled inlay. CONSIDERATIONS: The style 104 case is in excellent finish and solid. Small signs of wear from use, and light scuffs from handling. The bottom storage cabinet is in great condition with matching finish. Play is coin operated and works as expected. The music comb is complete with no repairs, and generates a strong sound and tone. The music box comes with 20 discs, some old and some new. With crank and keys.
