1940, UK: This automaton was most likely a window display "attention getter" from the 1940's. A tuxedo dresses gentleman in an obvious inebriated state, clinging to a lamp post and attempting to stand erect. Motion includes raising and lowering the head and his left arm while moving the right leg. CONSIDERATIONS: The gentleman's clothes are a bit tattered and need to be refitted to the body. Both arms are in need of cosmetic repair, but both operate. Currently set to operate on 220 electric, a great window display needing a little attention.
