Model 1920 Commercial Luger manufactured by DWM. Receiver bears a crossed out "7.65" stamp over the chamber, signifying conversion to 9mm, with the serial number and a vertical "(Crown) / N" commercial nitro proof on the left side. Toggle bears the intertwined "DWM" monogram. Front grip strap is unit marked "S P.Bn.265.1991", with "265" being crossed out, signifying issue to the Schutzpolizei in Bremen, Germany. Frame retains its sear safety. All numbers are matching, with many components appearing to have been numbered at the police armory. Firing pin, hold-open latch, and grips are unnumbered. Interior of left grip panel bears a Simson "(Eagle) / 6" proof on the interior. Complete with a later production leather holster. CONDITION: Metal components retain large amounts of their arsenal blue finish, exhibiting some wear overall to gray patina as well as some spots of inactive oxidation overall. Strawed components are fair. Mirror bore, exhibiting good rifling throughout. Grips show some smoothing and nicks to the diamonds, but are otherwise sturdy and serviceable.
