Observed full or partial serial numbers observed on bolt, underside of tangent rear sight, firing pin, locking block, rear of hammer, frame, subframe, sear arm, sear, follower, baseplate, and inside of grips. Appropriate "WAFFENFABRIK / MAUSER / OBERNDORF A/N" over chamber, "(Crown) / U" proof. Oberndorf proof on right side of chamber. Assorted small proofs on underside of the barrel and a small intertwined "M" on backstrap. CONDITION: Overall very good plus, retaining the vast majority of the factory bluing with some light marks from handling and use, most offensive on left side of barrel and near safety. Floorplate with more marks than balance of gun, common when it is inexpertly handled. Bolt stop replaced and in the white. Left side of tangent slider is essentially grey, while balance retains most of fire blue with some minor losses. Other fire blued parts very good with some minor losses. Grips are very good. Normal haloing from lanyard ring at butt, with ring and tip of stud essentially gunmetal grey. Mechanically fine, bore is excellent with strong rifling. A good example. EMW
