Manufactured 1919. Blade front sight with U-notch round top rear sight. Left side of slide with 2-line 2-block patent and address information with last patent date September 9th, 1902. Right side with "AUTOMATIC COLT / CALIBRE 38 RIMLESS SMOKELESS". Appropriate subinspector stamps on trigger guard with Colt VP proof, and subinspector on left. Heel magazine release. CONDITION: Very good with some markings from storage and use throughout. Silvering to high edges and flecked oxidation throughout, primarily to top of slide and right side. Some large spots of oxidation to right side of muzzle and backstrap. Mechanically fine, bore is good with strong rifling and some frosting throughout. EMW
