Octagonal barrel made without sights, retained by 3 pins. Nosecap with simple 3 line engraving. Ramrod, engraved with 3 lines en suite with nosecap, retained by a single thimble and feeding into an unreinforced mouth. Unsigned plain lock with a simple dragon decoration over the wheel; very bottom tip of cock engraved with scroll where it makes contact with frizzen. Ram's head butt with flat buttcap. Walnut stock with some light incised carving. CONDITION: Very good, bright metal has been cleaned in the European style over some light spotted oxidation with delamination visible from hand forging throughout. There are a few light spots of patina that do not detract. Stock is good with light handling marks, and appears to have had an extra layer of oil added. Mechanics not verified as no spanner is included, but wheel turns slightly by hand, bore is good with some light oxidation towards muzzle. EMW
