Factory Engraved Remington Rider Magazine Pistol manufactured circa 1871-1888 with only approximately 15,000 ever manufactured. 3 - 1/4" round barrel chambered in .32 Extra Short Rimfire with full length tubular magazine. Factory nickel plated and engraved with about 75% coverage scroll on a punchdot background with accenting wriggle work on barrel. 2 piece ivory grips. Complete with 5 rounds of .32 Extra Short Rimfire. CONDITION: Excellent, with a vast majority of the original nickel finish remaining with scattered light storage marks. Grips have yellowed slightly with age and have hairline cracks on left grip panel near butt, but are otherwise complete. Mechanically fine. Bore is lightly frosted with well-defined rifling and light abrasion near muzzle from use with corrosive black powder cartridges during the period. Cartridges have turned a brown patina with oxidation on lead bullets. A handsome factory engraved Rider Magazine Pistol with period ammunition. TON
