Colt Government Model 1911A1 semi automatic pistol. Made 1951. Standard markings on the left side of the slide, followed by a rampant Colt pony. Company address on the right side of the slide. "VP" proof on the left side of the trigger guard. Original Colt markings on the barrel. Standard blade front sight and u-notch rear. Factory blued finish on the metal components. Added trigger shoe. Original checkered brown plastic grips. Includes an original blued steel magazine marked "COLT / .45 AUTO." on the bottom. CONDITION: Metal retains 85% of its original finish with light wear and scratches. Grips are very good overall with light wear. Bore is clean overall with crisp rifling. Mechanically fine. Magazine has light wear. JWA
