1906 vintage Colt Buntline Special single action revolver, serial number 278780. 12" round replacement barrel chambered in .45 Long Colt with single line barrel address, blade front sight, and replacement dovetailed rifle rear sight. 2 piece 3rd generation checkered hard rubber Colt grips featuring an eagle and a Rampant Colt on either side in an oval. CONDITION: Very good, with replacement barrel and cylinder retaining a vast majority of their original bluing with light handling marks throughout and light dragline on cylinder. Balance of steel components are an even gray chemical patina with a protective layer of finish added and scattered areas of light pits and splotching on frame. Mechanically fine with cylinder locking tightly. Bore is lightly frosted with well-defined rifling. Would make an excellent shooter. TON
