Mauser C96 semi automatic pistol with holster. Made circa early 1930s as an M30 variant. Typical company address markings on the right side of the frame, and on the chamber. "(Crown) / U" proofs on the chamber and bolt. "MAUSER" banner on the left side of the frame. No import marks found. Only serial number is on the left side of the slide. Large blade front sight with rear tangent graduated to 1,000 meters. Factory blued finish on the metal components. Lanyard ring and stud are present. 12 line serrated wood grips. Includes a black leather Kriegsmarine marked holster with a clearing rod in the side pouch. "(Eagle) / Swastika / M" marked on the back, and two stripper clip pouches on the front. CONDITION: Metal retains 80% of its original finish with a few splotches of finish loss and cleaned patina. Grips are excellent with a few handling marks. Bore is clean with strong rifling. Mechanically fine. Holster has edge wear, with some cracking and crazing on the top of the flap. Stitching remains tight. Wood handle on the clearing rod has a small crack in it. JWA
