Third Reich NSDAP political leader visor cap made in a dark tan tricot wool with light soiling and wear, and approximately a dozen spots of moth tracking and nips. Brown velvet center band with very light wear, with intact light blue piping exhibiting light wear and soiling, and several moth nips. The NSDAP eagle may have been replaced, and the correct cockade is present. Gold bullion officer chin cord has light wear and patina, with gold finished buttons. Black leather visor appears to have been replaced, has moderate crazing, damage, and appears to have been redyed brown. The interior is fully lined in a light golden rayon with light damage and staining. No celluloid sweatshield present. Light tan leather sweatband has light wear, staining, and the entire front is detached. As the visor has been redyed, some of the dye is also present on the sweatband. CONDITION: Overall very good.
