Cast brass, 1/3 scale model of a non-firing British Coehorn mortar on base. Most Coehorns are fixed at a 45 degree angle, but this example has a brass bracketed stand that allows one to elevate and lower the tube. Raised "GR" cypher above simulated touch hole. Bore measures: 2 - 1/4". Mounted on an oiled hardwood bed with all brass fittings. Marked on base "O.F. GUN WORK XXVII". CONDITION: Excellent overall, with mostly bright finish on the brass. Only slight handling marks to the base. BRM.
