A Kelly Lamp Co. double guard, brass top bell bottom model made in the New York Central pattern. The lid reflector is embossed "NYC&HRRR" and there is a nice Kelly hallmark. This later Kelly model has a frame bail attachment. There is a patent stamp in the bottom cylinder. The plug-in fount is correct for this model and has a functioning No. 1 ratchet burner affixed. The scarce, 6", clear, extended base globe is a real dandy. It is embossed "NYC&HRRRCo" with a crest containing three 5-point stars embossed above the RR embossing. A real curiosity for sure. The frame is smooth, clean, protected, and is display-ready.
