German World War II Waffen SS Handschar “Fez” cap. The body is made from a maroon color felt with a size stamped tag of "60" inside the sweat band, and in unissued condition with only light wear. Machine embroidered BeVo Waffen-SS cap eagle and cap skull are machine sewn to the cap, and the undamaged black tassels are still sewn down to the Fez, as it would have come from the factory. Maroon leather sweat band sweat band has only very light wear from being folded, with the size tag behind it. These caps were worn by the 13th Waffen SS Mountain Division by its Bosnian Muslim members. CONDITION: Unissued and overall excellent plus. PROVENANCE: Lt. Robert A. Bonner Collection. WEZ
