A beautiful early 20th century bronze and glass lighting fixture. The 7.5” diameter tear drop shaped shade is composed of delicate, transparent glass with blue towards the top and middle, which progresses to a soft yellow at the bottom. There is beautiful banded pattern throughout. The shade has possible attribution to Tiffany Studios. Shade is unsigned, and in excellent condition, free of cracks or chips. The shade is suspended by a bronze ceiling fixture. The single socket fixture has a decorated ceiling cap with brown patina. Central hook to mount cap appears to be missing. Three arms which support the shade are suspended from a series of chains with rings. The fixture is in good very good condition, with some rusting to chains and rings, and scratching on underside of ceiling cap. Dimensions: 15” x 7.5”
