Lot consists of: (A) German World War II Luftwaffe 2nd Model dagger with steel blade maker marked for the maker Tiger. The blade retains its factory cross-graining, but has greyed slightly throughout. The blade's tip has dulled slightly. The aluminum cross-guard and pommel retain some of the dark finish in the recesses. The cross-guard appear to have been polished heavily on the eagle. The wire wrapped white trylon grip has light patina and a few small cracks. The aircraft grey finished steel scabbard has dark patina throughout, and evidence of prior cleaning. An original set of 2nd Model Luftwaffe Hangers are attach to the scabbard, which are slightly worn but intact. An original Luftwaffe Portepee is attached to the grip of the dagger CONDITION: Very good. (B). German World War II Luftwaffe 2nd Model dagger with steel blade that retains its factory cross-graining, with minimal light marks throughout. The aluminum cross-guard and pommel retain some of their darkening in the recesses. The wire wrapped white late war grip has light patina and a few small spots in areas. The aircraft grey finished steel scabbard has light patina throughout. The scabbard is missing a throat screw. CONDITION: Very good. DW
