Lot consists of: (A) German World War II Luftwaffe Vehicle Pennant made of sheet steel. The pennant is painted a dark green with a hand painted Luftwaffe “Droop Tail” eagle as central motif. The pennant has light marks throughout, but retains most of its paint. No staff. Pennant measures 13” x 7-1/2”. CONDITION: Very good. (B) German World War II Luftwaffe Vehicle Pennant. The pennant is made of sheet steel with yellow and black colors, and a white spray stenciled eagle. The pennant has light marks throughout. Pennant measures 13” x 8”. The silver painted vehicle staff is attached to the pennant with 2 silver painted steel strips. Staff measures 15” in length. CONDITION: Excellent. (C) US World War II Stars and Strips edition from May 13, 1945. The edition speaks of Hermann Goering's surrender, as well as US fighting in Okinawa. A small half of an NSDAP Pennant was found in the bag with the paper. The pennant is heavily frayed on the ends. The pennant measures 8” x 6”. CONDITION: Very good. DMW
