A German World War II Tank Destruction Strip awarded for single handed destruction of an enemy tank by an individual. The strip is made of woven aluminum thread folded over a steel backplate. The blackened steel tank is secured by 3 prongs through the back plate, and then the reverse of the strip was covered with a lattice weave canvas. The obverse of the strip has light wear and oxidizing, with light rust to the right side of the tank. The reverse canvas has light wear, some staining, and a few small holes. CONDITION: Very good.
