Diamondback .38 Special double action revolver manufactured by Colt. The left side of the barrel is stamped "DIAMONDBACK/ .38 SPECIAL CTG.", with the right side bearing Colt's single line address. Left side of frame bears the Rampant Colt logo and "VP" proof. Features include a blue finish, 4" vent rib barrel, ramp front sight, Colt Accro rear sight, as well as 2-piece Colt gold medallion checekered walnut grips. Revolver is accompanied by its matching factory box that contains factory paperwork and its styrofoam insert. CONDITION: Near new, with metal components retaining virtually all of their original factory blue finish as well as retaining a layer of factory grease, exhibiting only an extremely faint dragline around the cylinder. Mirror bore, exhibiting well defined rifling throughout. Grips are excellent. Wood grain factory box shows some wear around on the corners as well as on the end label, but is otherwise fine. MLW
