J.P. Sauer Colt Model R8002 bolt action rifle with box. Made 1982 in Germany by J.P. Sauer & Sohn and imported and sold by Colt Industries. Commercial German proofs on the barrel and receiver. Standard markings. Fires from a detachable magazine. Round steel barrel with no iron sights. Factory blued finish. Drilled and taped for a scope base. Original lacquered wood stock with fine checkering on the wrist and forearm. Capped pistol grip and factory rubber butt pad. Factory sling studs. Includes original, serial matching, box and manual. CONDITION: Metal retains 98% of its original finish, with little signs of use. Wood is excellent overall as well. Bore is shiny with crisp rifling. Looks to be unfired from the factory. Box is excellent, minus a hole in the end of the styrofoam. JWA
