Springfield M1 Garand semi-automatic rifle with bayonet. Made November 1941, with a "S-A-11-41" marked barrel. Barrel has British Birmingham proofs on the right side. This falls into the range of British lend-lease guns. No import marks on the rifle. "NM" marked "RA" production operating rod. Sights are "NM" marked. Bolt and trigger group are Springfield production. Early style gas plug. Arsenal reparkerized post-War. Stock was sanded at some point, and has no visible markings. Includes attached Brownell's leather sling and an original cleaning kit in the butt stock. Also included is a "1943" dated American Fork and Hoe production bayonet and scabbard. CONDITION: Metal retains 85% of its arsenal reapplied finishes. Wood has handling marks and scratches. Bore is shiny with crisp rifling. Throat measures at "0", while the muzzle at "1". Bayonet has some browning patina on the grips and hilt. Scabbard has some surface rust. Blade has not been sharpened.
