1970 vintage Colt Texas Ranger Commemorative single action revolver, serial number 501T(star)R. 7 - 1/2" round barrel chambered in .45 Colt with single line Colt barrel address, blade front sight, and frame notch rear. Left of barrel is marked Texas Ranger Commemorative with the famous saying "One Riot... One Ranger". Color case hardened frame. Nickel plated center pin, ejector rod head, ejector rod head screw, traverse center pin latch, and trigger guard. Top of backstrap has a State of Texas Seal near hammer with "TEXAS RANGERS" laser engraved on the backstrap near grip area. 2 piece walnut grips with Texas Ranger star on the left grip panel. Housed in the correct red velvet lined walnut presentation fitted case with Texas Ranger badge made out of a Mexican 5 peso coin cased in resin and a cattlehide lined book titled "Pictorial History of The Texas Rangers". CONDITION: Excellent plus with virtually all of the original finishes remaining with minor handling marks throughout. No dragline present on cylinder. Frame retains bright original case colors.
