Lot consists of 2 19th century wood cased drafting sets and 1 empty case. Boxes are all nicely grained wood with escutcheon plates on the lids and keyhole locks. All suitable for a display of Civil War era engineer and topographical engineer material. (A) Large empty box with dividers and liner removed. CONDITON: Good exterior for display. (B) Medium sized box with blue velvet and silk interior. All tools in place in upper tray. Lower compartment with compasses and dividers. CONDITION: Very Good. (C) Red lined, upper tray with 6 tools present, brass protractor and black wood and brass parallel rule in lower compartment. CONDITION: Very Good, with some missing elements.
