HK41 manufactured by Heckler & Koch and imported by Golden State Arms in Pasadena, California. These HK41 rifles were among some of the first examples imported into the United States in the mid-1960s and are incredibly scarce and sought after among the HK collecting community. The left side of the receiver is stamped "HK41 10B 914" above HK's date code "5/66". The left side of the trigger pack housing is marked "MADE IN GERMANY FOR" "SANTE / FE" (within a chevron) over "SANTE FE DIVISION / GOLDEN STATE ARMS CORPORATION / PASADENA-CALIFORNIA-U.S.A. / CAL. 7.62mm NATO". Safety selector switch is marked "S" and "F". Metal components exhibit a grey-green parkerized finish and are mounted with a black polymer forend, buttstock, and pistol grip. Features include a 17 - 1/2" barrel, birdcage flash hider, 4-position drum rear sight, as well as a hooded HK pattern post front sight. Matching numbers are present on the receiver, trigger pack housing, buttstock, bolt carrier, as well as on the bolt assembly. Top of bolt carrier is stamped "HK 4/66". Rifle is accompanied by a "G3 HK/ 5/62" marked 20-round magazine, a vinyl 2-cell magazine carrier, as well as a brown leather sling. CONDITION: Near new, with metal components retaining virtually all of their original factory applied phosphate finish, exhibiting only a few minor marks from handling and storage overall. Mint bore, exhibiting sharp and well-defined lands and grooves throughout. Black polymer furniture is excellent. An exceptionally attractive and high condition HK41 semi-automatic rifle for the discerning HK collector or enthusiast. MLW
