Woodmans manufactured by Colt in 1952. Top of barrel bears Colt's 2-line address with the left side of the frame being stamped "THE WOODSMAN". Left side of slide is stamped "COLT" followed by the caliber designation. Features include a blue finish, 6 - 5/8" barrel, partridge front sight, target adjustable "U" notch rear sight, as well as 2-piece checkered walnut grips. CONDITION: Metal components retain the majority of their original factory blue finish, exhibiting some wear and thinning overall that shows through to a brown patina, as well as some scattered marks from handling. Mirror bore, exhibiting strong rifling throughout. Grips show some nicks to the diamonds and some smoothing, but are otherwise fine. MLW
