Woodsman manufactured by Colt in 1936. Left side of barrel bears stampings stipulating the manufacturer with the frame being stamped "THE WOODSMAN" and the slide bearing "COLT" followed by the caliber designation and Rampant Colt logo. Features include a blue finish, 4 - 1/2" barrel, ramp front sight, adjustable square notch rear sight, as well as 2-piece checkered walnut grips. CONDITION: Very good, with metal components retaining the vast majority of their original factory blue finish, exhibiting some light areas of wear as well as some scattered spots of freckling and a couple small spots of oxidation. Bore is bright and exhibits strong rifling throughout. Grips show some light smoothing and a few scattered handling marks, but are otherwise sturdy and serviceable. MLW
