1884 vintage Colt Frontier Six Shooter single action revolver, serial number 102683. 7 - 1/2" round barrel chambered in .44-40 Winchester Center Fire with single line Colt barrel address, frame notch rear sight, and blade front sight. Barrel is marked .44 caliber near center pin. 2 piece plain walnut grips. CONDITION: Fair, with virtually all of the original finishes turned to a heavy brown gray patina with scattered areas of heavy handling and storage marks. Grips are heavily worn and shy to frontstrap with heavy gouges in left grip panel. Action is loose with side and endshake but appears to function properly. Bore is heavily frosted with visible rifling. TON
